Overview
The Department of Anaesthesiology teaches the safe delivery of anaesthesia, airway management, resuscitation, the care of critically ill patients and the management of pain. Anaesthesiology is taught as part of Surgery and allied subjects in the clinical years of MBBS, and students learn these skills in the operating theatres and intensive care units of the teaching hospital.
