Overview
The Department of Microbiology teaches the bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites that cause disease, the body's immune response, and the laboratory methods used to identify infections and guide antibiotic treatment. Microbiology is part of the integrated pre-clinical curriculum of MBBS.
