Overview
The Department of Pathology teaches the mechanisms of disease and how disease changes cells, tissues and organs. Pathologists diagnose disease from tissue biopsies, cytology, blood and body fluids, so the department links basic science to clinical practice. Pathology is part of the integrated pre-clinical curriculum of MBBS.
